SCS - CAS25

It has been ages since I've done a challenge on SCS - BUT I'm loving the new Clean and Simple card category and since I'm such a big fan of Krystie Lee I decided to give it a try - Here is my interpretation of CAS25 -
I had some new Hero Arts stamps that hadn't had ink yet - Paired them up with my trusty A Muse cardstock and Juliette papers (Sage and Latte) and my two favorite A Muse sentiments - I've used my Thanks Script so many times that the words are wearing off the side!! Now that is love! Sheer French Roast ribbon was the finishing touch -

A Musing stamp storage -

One of everyone's favorite things about A Muse is the teeny stamps!! I love them but I have a hard time storing them - I've kept them in clear boxes but the tiny ones tend to flop all over. Recently I bought a creepy printer's tray from a creepy junk/antique store. Here you see Caleb cleaning away with Q-tips and sudsy water (he asked $1.50 for this job - it was a bargain and I happily paid up!!)
Here it is on the wall (doesn't look much cleaner but, trust me, it is!) housing my tiny stamps! I love walking by and seeing things that make me happy - it won't hold my many larger A Muse stamps but who knows what the future holds - - - -
Wait until you see what I have planned for this monstrosity!

A Musing Lawnmower Fun!!

Does your yard ever look like this? Ours does except that pretty yellow flowers don't grow in our tall grass. Look what happens when you push the lawnmower!!!! Wouldn't it be great if our grass mowed that easily too??!!
I'd been thinking about a version of this card for the longest time until finally I got it to work. Most people use this type of card as a pull card but I just made it a push one instead. This card is part of the A Musing Summer Fun class. It is not too late to make this card with me - it will be held tomorrow night, 7/17 at 6PM - Just give Kim a quick call to register -
Stamps - A Muse 3-4130E Long Grass, 8-8540B Mama said, 7-7133C Lawnmower, 7-4108A Grasshopper, 3-4094 Tiny Bee, 6-4129A Mini Flower
Paper - A Muse 4b Lime Band Notecards
Ink - Momento ink in Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa, Dandelion, Bamboo Leaves
Accessories - Copic Markers, Clear Spica Marker, Fine Tip Black Marker, X-acto knife

Copics - Sun and Surf

LOOK at the outside of the shop! That lovely "backhoe??!!" may prevent cars from parking out front but it didn't keep people from the inside! The Crop Hop was going strong on Saturday and there were leis everywhere - Kim had the cutest Make 'n Take ever using the new Carla Craft coil binding system, the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and EK Success slim punches!! I taught the Copic - Sun and Surf class and we had a great time!!
Copics make everyone smile!
